Countdown to the NANN 40th Annual Conference

Summer is here!!  I hope that everyone is having a fun-filled and memorable summer. Whether the kids are home from school or you are enjoying a much-deserved vacation or staycation, I hope that you are making plans to join us for a resort-destination 40th Annual NANN Conference celebration in Orlando, Florida, this September 18-20th, 2024.

The NANN Board, NANN-AP Council, and the NANN Conference Planning Committee have been hard at work putting together an amazing conference agenda that features an all-day APRN summit, hands-on pre-conference workshop, and the latest evidenced-based education to improve your neonatal practice and, more importantly, your patient outcomes. Be educated. Be transformative, Be impactful.

We are happy to bring back the Case of the Year presentation this year in collaboration with the Vermont Oxford Network, which promises to deliver a rare clinical case. Plus, don’t miss out on another fun NANN Escape Room immersive experience.

This year, we are commemorating four decades of making a difference for neonatal nurses, patients, and families against an incredible backdrop of some of the best beach scenery in the county. Join us for this milestone celebration and be educated with insightful sessions, be transformed through valuable connections, and be impactful in shaping the next four decades of neonatal care. Since this is our 40th Annual Conference, you will not want to miss out on the “Ruby Jubilee” for our extended NANN After Dark party! We are so excited to connect with all of you, so get ready to Empower your Extraordinary!

In addition to our exciting agenda, we are thrilled to introduce NANN’s DEI strategic pillar and ONE NANN Task Force. The ONE NANN Task Force has been formed to ensure all neonatal nurses, patients, and families are empowered through diversity and feel welcome in the NICU and beyond. Throughout the conference, you'll see diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging celebrated in various ways. Be sure to check out the adorable ONE NANN t-shirts available for purchase and take the opportunity to meet the task force members onsite.

As my time as NANN President is ending, I would challenge every one of you to get involved, regardless of how big or small a commitment you can make. Serving on the NANN Board of Directors has changed my life in ways I could have never anticipated. I am tremendously grateful and so proud of each and every member of this association for making it the strongest association for neonatal professionals in the country.

See you in September,
Rachael and FerNANNdo
