Choose Wellness in Times of Nurse Fatigue at NANN Connections

We are living in highly uncertain times and neonatal nurses have been on the front lines of the global pandemic. Join NANN’s membership committee on Thursday, February 10th for NANN Connections: Choosing Wellness: Create your Own Weather in Stormy Times. Dr. Eileen T. O’Grady, a nurse practitioner wellness expert, will present ideas on how to practice self-leadership and explore strategies to combat nurse fatigue and preserve your sanity during challenging times. NANN Connections events are free for all neonatal nurses, not just NANN members. Hang this flyer in your unit and be sure to invite your neonatal nursing peers. In the spirit of self-care, all attendees who stay throughout the event will be entered to win a $100 Spafinder gift-card!

New to the NICU? Gain Inspiration from NANN Footprints

NANN Footprints: Stories from the NICU shares the narratives of neonatal nurses and highlights their incredible impact on patients and families. This month’s submission is a letter of encouragement to recent graduates just starting their career in the NICU. Read “Dear NICU New Grads” by Gabriel C. Hutson, MN.

Interested in sharing your NICU narrative? A NANN Footprints story should be relevant to neonatal nursing practice, relate a baby’s or family’s experience, and/or describe the professional development of a neonatal nurse.
