As we welcome the arrival of spring, I wanted to update you on exciting news and upcoming events and opportunities in the NANN community.
First, the NANN Board of Directors thanks all our members for their continued support and participation in our programs and activities—especially supporting our chapters at the local level. Your involvement helps us create a vibrant and engaged community where everyone can network, learn, and provide the best and safest care to the neonatal population. If there is not a chapter in your state or area, we would love to help you get one started!
One of the highlights of this season is the launch of our new associate membership category. Associate membership is open to neonatal healthcare professionals who want to support neonatal nursing and access NANN education, products, and offerings. This new membership category provides all neonatal multidisciplinary team members with consistent, evidenced-based education in the neonatal setting. We believe that this membership category will offer valuable support and guidance to those who need it most, and we are excited to see it come to fruition. To spread the word among your valued colleagues and invite them to join NANN, please share our downloadable flyer with them.
An additional highlight is our much anticipated RNC (Registered Nurse, Certified) Certification Review Course. This state-of-the-art, interactive course comprises 17 learning modules to set learners up for success on the RNC-NIC or CCRN Exam . This course is the first at NANN to offer institutional administrative functionality, enabling administrators to manage and track staff preparation and progress. Through May 2024, NANN is offering a special introductory offer for institutions based on member pricing, so it is a great time to give the gift of this amazing new product to your staff.
Registration is open for the 40th Annual NANN Conference in Orlando, FL, this September 18-20. Mark your calendars and plan to attend! With an amazing pre-con offering, FULL-day APRN summit, Case of the Year in partnership with VON, another fabulous escape room experience, and top-notch speakers, it is going to be the best neonatal conference of the year! Don’t miss out—register early, as space is limited!
