NANN research drives the practice of neonatal nursing. For this reason, NANN strives to provide avenues for members to become more active in accessing, understanding, conducting, and advancing research and evidence-based neonatal care.
The NANN Research Summit brings nurses together to share their projects—research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice—in a supportive and stimulating environment.
This year's 16th annual NANN Research Summit was made possible by an educational grant from Mead Johnson Nutrition. The event was held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions on March 16, 2021. Eleven researchers were selected to present their research or evidence-based practice project to an audience of their peers and faculty.
The following individuals served as faculty at the Research Summit:
- Amy D'Agata, PhD RN – Associate Professor, University of Rhode Island College of Nursing
- Christine Fortney, PhD RN – Associate Professor, The Ohio State University College of Nursing
- Jacqueline McGrath, PhD RN FNAP FAAN – Professor and Vice Dean for Faculty Excellence, University of Texas Health, San Antonio, School of Nursing
