Session Spotlight: Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Preconference Session

NANN is thrilled to partner with Vermont Oxford Network (VON), a nonprofit voluntary collaboration of healthcare professionals working together as an interdisciplinary community to change the landscape of neonatal care. Together NANN and VON will review the compelling clinical challenges of neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) to promote improved quality, safety, and value of care for this vulnerable population of infants and families. Participants will leave with materials and skills to impact NAS care at home. Join us for the NAS Preconference Session on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, 1–5:30 pm and earn 4.5 CNE hours!

Pampers, Part of the P&G Family, Provides Educational Grant for Positioning the Neonate Forum at the 32nd Annual Educational Conference

An exciting new addition to NANN's fall conference offerings, an educational forum on positioning the neonate, will be offered twice during the October conference in Palm Springs, CA, thanks to a grant from Pampers, Part of the P&G Family. Participants will be engaged in a presentation and interactive demonstration. They will take away an understanding of the reasoning behind effective positioning for healthy growth of the preterm infant, as well as be able to describe and demonstrate optimal methods of preterm infant positioning. A new module of CNENow! will be developed in tandem with the forum and available for download prior to conference. Look for more details on NANN's conference home page as they become available.
