Two weeks ago the neonatal celebration of the year took place on social media and in units across the globe. It was our honor to watch as the images, reflections, hashtags, and stories poured into NANN’s social networks. Our Neonatal Nurses Day image was shared more than 1,800 times across social media, and early reports show it reached nearly 300,000 people! Thousands of you gave shout outs to your units, shared your gratitude, and donned your “We Save Babies” apparel. Neonatal Nurses Day 2017 was a GREAT day to be a neonatal nurse, and we look forward to future celebrations!
NANN is organizing a delegation to Vietnam to meet with our Vietnamese counterparts and learn about the challenges and advances of neonatal healthcare delivery in Vietnam.
This delegation will convene in Hanoi, Vietnam, on March 3, 2018, returning to the United States after the programs conclusion on March 10, 2018, from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
The estimated cost per delegation member is $4,350. This cost includes group transportation, meeting planning, accommodations in double-occupancy rooms, most meals, and almost all other costs associated with participation. Payment plans are available.
Join us for the next Research Summit in Scottsdale, AZ, April 10–12, 2018. Submit a research proposal or evidence-based practice change project that you have implemented or will implement and complete by early spring 2018.
All submissions will undergo a blind review for quality, relevance, and merit by the NANN Research Committee Advisory Panel. Approximately 20 people will be selected to participate in the Research Summit. Individuals who have not presented at the past two Research Summits will be given priority. Applicants will be notified in December 2017 regarding the status of their submission.
