Commercially Supported Satellite Symposia

The satellite symposia are held in conjunction with the annual conference.

Both continuing nursing education (CNE) and non-CNE symposia are an option. Organizers of the satellite symposium with CNE are responsible for obtaining CNE contact hours through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the California Board of Registered Nurses. Companies can develop their own presentations or contract with a medical education company. NANN's Program Planning Committee will review proposals and evaluate them based on the quality of the programs and their relevance to the neonatal nursing community. The proposed programs must demonstrate scientific rigor and objectivity and must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.

The fee for sponsoring a corporate satellite symposium is $20,000. Companies will be notified of their status following approval.
