Membership categories and pricing

Membership is available to any nursing student or registered nurse who wants to support neonatal nursing and NANN. Visit our Member Benefits page for more information to help you decide which membership is best for you!

United States and Canada—$150

For nurses within the United States and Canada looking for a full suite of member benefits, including print and digital subscription to Advances in Neonatal Care, 20 free CE, free digital products, tuition savings through our partnerships, product and event discounts, and scholarship and grant eligibility.

International—$170

For nurses within the United States and Canada looking for a full suite of member benefits, including print and digital subscription to Advances in Neonatal Care, 20 free CE, free digital products, tuition savings through our partnerships, product and event discounts, and scholarship and grant eligibility.

New! E-Member—$99

For nurses looking to connect with NANN and receive a limited suite of valuable benefits. E-members receive a digital subscription to Advances in Neonatal Care, access the MyNANN and the NANN Career Center, members-only communications, weekly NANN Neonatal News, and quarterly E-News, as well as recruitment rewards. E-members DO NOT receive free CE or products, or member discounts on products and events.

Student—$50 ($45 if NSNA member)

For students who are currently enrolled in an entry-level nursing program that leads to eligibility for the NCLEX examination upon graduation and undergraduate students. National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) members can join NANN at a discount. Learn more about NANN student memberships here.

Retired—$80

For retired NANN members age 65 and older. While retired members do not receive the Advances in Neonatal Care and may not hold office, they still retain voting rights, can participate on committees, and enjoy all other regular benefits. Retired members interested in digital access to the journal might consider e-membership.

New: Associate—$130

Associate membership is open to any NON-NURSE neonatal healthcare professional who wants to support neonatal nursing and access NANN education, products and offerings.

Local Chapter—Pricing Varies

Chapter membership is open to US members. Members can add chapters when joining.

NANN-AP Individual—$40 additional (US and Canada)

NANN members who are NNPs or CNSs are eligible to join the National Association of Neonatal Nurses - Advanced Practice (NANN-AP), a division of NANN.

NANN-AP International—$35 additional

For NANN members who are NNPs or CNSs and located outside of the United States and Canada.

NNP Graduate Student—$15 additional

NANN-AP graduate students must hold an individual NANN membership and be enrolled in an advanced degree program working toward their NNP or CNS. Learn more about NANN-AP student memberships here.

Interested in a multi-year membership?

NANN offers 1-, 2-, and 3- year memberships. NANN multi-year membership offers a $10 or $20 savings to members, dependent on membership length. This option not available for e-members.

Want to register as a group?

NANN offers new member group discounts to make membership even more affordable. Join with nurses from your unit, community, or peer group from anywhere in North America. Please note group membership is limited to new members only.

Add a NANN-AP membership

The National Association of Neonatal Nurses - Advanced Practice (NANN-AP) is a division of NANN that represents neonatal advanced practice registered nurses. By adding NANN-AP* to your NANN membership, you can take advantage of exclusive discounts and resources tailored specifically to your needs.

*To become a member of NANN-AP, you must be a NANN member. To add NANN-AP to an existing NANN membership, call 800.451.3795.

Renew to a Retired membership

We value our most seasoned professionals in neonatal nursing! A retired member may request a change in membership status from Regular to Retired at age sixty-five or older. While retired members do not receive the Advances in Neonatal Care and may not hold office, they still retain voting rights, can participate on committees, and enjoy all other regular benefits. Retired members interested in digital access to the journal should consider e-membership. To renew as a retired member, please call our member services number at 800.451.3795.
