Meet Your Keynote Speakers

Get ready to be inspired by our esteemed keynote speakers at the NANN 42nd Annual Conference!

For our opening keynote, Dr. Michael Warren, Chief Medical and Health Officer of March of Dimes, will facilitate The Voice of NICU Families: Lessons, Strategies and Inspiration for Nurses. Through powerful interviews and video stories, this session highlights how nurses and care teams influence families during their NICU journey and beyond. Featuring diverse experiences across diagnoses, lengths of stay, and care settings, you’ll reconnect with the “why” behind your work and be reminded of the lasting impact you make every day. March of Dimes will also share insights from 25 years of NICU Family Support and evidence-based resources that strengthen family-centered care.

For our closing keynote, we’re excited to welcome back Dr. Jess Daigle for The Work Beneath the Work: Reclaiming Meaning, Safety, and Connection to NICU Care. This session explores the emotional labor of NICU nursing, including burnout, moral distress, psychological safety, and the role of connection in high-stakes environments. Through reflection and practical, same-day strategies, you’ll leave with tools to strengthen communication, support your team, stay connected to purpose, and protect your humanity while caring for babies and families in crisis.

These captivating sessions will leave you inspired and empowered to make a difference in neonatal care!
