As the year winds down, there’s still plenty happening at NANN, including new ways to earn neonatal CE. This season, you can explore new volunteer opportunities, apply for the Emerging Leader Fellowship, earn CE through NANNcast+, and catch up on recent NANNcast episodes. We’re also sharing what you need to know as Advances in Neonatal Care moves fully online in 2027, plus how NICU leaders can bring NANN to their entire team.
Answer NANN’s Fall Call for Volunteers
Ready to make a bigger impact on neonatal nursing? NANN’s Fall Call for Volunteers is open October 26 through December 7. Volunteering is a meaningful way to shape NANN’s education, advocacy, and resources while building your leadership skills and connecting with colleagues from across the country. Whether you have a few hours to share or want to take on a larger role, there’s a place for you.
Apply for the 2027 Emerging Leader Fellowship
Applications for NANN’s Emerging Leader Fellowship (ELF) close November 23, 2026. This virtual five-month program, offered with Synova Associates, helps neonatal nurses build leadership skills and complete a quality improvement project that improves outcomes in their own healthcare settings. ELF graduates go on to do great things for the profession; NANNcast host Jill Beck developed the idea for the podcast during her fellowship.
Full individual and international NANN members are eligible to apply. The program begins February 24, 2027, and needs-based partial tuition awards are available.
NANNcast+ Episodes Are Here
Earn CE while you listen! A new round of NANNcast+ episodes is now available, featuring topics including AI in the NICU, lifelong outcomes of the preterm infant, discharge education, and compassion fatigue. Members can earn up to 3.5 CE with this round. Episodes rotate every three to six months, so check back often for new content.
NANNcast+ is an exclusive NANN member benefit.

Packages serve groups of 25 to 500 nurses, can be shared across NICUs within a system, and include quarterly engagement reporting and benchmarking. Nurse leaders can contact Molly Anderson, CAE, Executive Director, at [email protected] to explore options.
