The National Association of Neonatal Nurses – Advanced Practice (NANN-AP) is requesting your participation in a brief research survey to help identify and describe neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) staffing. The survey has 35 questions and should take less than 5 minutes of your time.
This is a completely voluntary, anonymous survey. No personal information will be obtained and there is no link to you electronically. Completing this survey indicates your consent to participate. This survey has received IRB approval as an exempt study.
As an NNP, you are being asked to participate to help NANN-AP describe current workplace and staffing practices around the country. The survey includes questions relating to safe staffing practices. The results of the survey will be published in a position paper describing the data collected and with recommendations for NNP patient ratios.
Please answer each question as it relates to your experience working in a level I, II, III, or IV nursery/NICU. If you work in more than one hospital, please base your answers on where you spend the most time. Please only answer the survey once.
NANN-AP thanks you in advance for your participation in addressing safe NNP staffing.
Thank you for taking the survey. For questions, please contact Mary Washington IRB at [email protected].
