My favorite season, summer, is here and in full swing! I hope you have had the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the long summer days and warm evenings! I know I'm enjoying some long-awaited time with my friends and family and am hoping you are able to do the same!

Getting together in groups again has all of us thinking about gathering safely, and at NANN, we can't wait for our next in-person meeting in September of 2022 in Las Vegas.

In the meantime, we are busily preparing for our amazing virtual conference that will be better than ever! Using the same great site as last year but full of new features and functionality to help us connect and celebrate in new ways, NANN's Virtual 37th Annual Conference is just around the corner, scheduled for September 13-15.

Register by today, July 30, to receive a NANN Conference SWAG box that will make your conference experience even more fun!

We are so excited that our virtual conference will be not only convenient and affordable but give you the option to earn over 40 hours of CNE on the latest neonatal and  professional development topics. You'll have access to all NANN conference sessions through February 1, 2022, giving you the opportunity to earn CNE for both 2021 and 2022. Learn more about the amazing lineup of speakers and experiences waiting for you at this year's meeting in E-News's Conference Central.

At the end of our fall conference each year, we welcome our new leaders to the NANN Board and NANNP Council and say farewell to those whose terms are ending. Joan Rikli, Linda Merritt, Reena Blackwell, Elizabeth Welch-Carre and Kristin Howard are moving on from their roles serving on the Board of Directors and NANNP Council, and I'm grateful for their hard work and dedication.

I am excited to welcome new NANN Board members Ashley Weber, Jennifer Fries, and Jill Beck and NANNP Council members Barbara Snapp and Tosha Harris, all of whom will assume their new roles following the September conference.
